Welcome to the Wisconsin Virtual Learning School Counseling Webpage

Hi, my name is Chad Peterson and I am honored to serve as WVL's school counselor.  I have a Master’s Degree in Educational Psychology and certification in school counseling. I have been on the school counseling scene since 2009 and have had the privilege of working with students of all schooling levels on academic and career planning, as well as social and emotional development. As a member of the WVL team, I work closely with the SLAs to ensure all students have a positive and successful school experience.  

Guiding and supporting high school students as they navigate their way through school and establish a post-secondary plan is one of my responsibilities I enjoy the most.  Whether a student plans on pursing an industry-recognized certification or licensure, a technical, associate's, or bachelor’s degree, it is important for all students to set goals for after graduation.
